Dear Jersey Sound............... Heartfelt Thanks for Making Our Fundraising Event a Harmonious Success! I hope this message finds you in high spirits. I am writing on behalf of the Alliance Community Healthcare Gala Committee to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible performance at our recent 60th Anniversary Gala fundraising event. Your music elevated the entire atmosphere, creating an enchanting ambiance that resonated with our audience. Your talent and dedication were evident in every note, and we are truly fortunate to have had you as part of our event. Not only did you provide an unforgettable experience for our attendees, and incorporating one of the honorees to sing with the band was phenomenal. We are continually inspired by the power of music to bring people together and create positive change. Your performance exemplified this, and we are honored to have collaborated with such a talented and compassionate group. Once again, thank you for your invaluable support. We look forward to the possibility of working together in the future and creating more beautiful moments for our community. Wishing you continued success and creativity in your musical endeavors. Haven’t enjoyed a show as much as I did tonight in a very long time. Thanks for bringing us back to our younger days.... Dana (8/4/2023)

Jersey Sound shook the Devils hand Friday night. Tap, tap, tap, and the devil danced in the rafters while his wolves harmonized with the moon. No one was spared, and no one cared !! That old mansion shook right down to the cellar, and whatever magic potion possessed all of you this night, cook it up again boys….!!! What a fabulous concert, all of you were on top of your game. Great work, boys....!!!
at Rutherfurd Hall.....Laura Conte (8/4/2023)

Pavinci Italian Grill is about to go quiet.
My sister by another mother, Camille Conte, put it best: “At 15 it’s all tomorrows. At 73 it’s a lot of goodbyes. That’s why you have to make the most of right now.”
Wasn’t it just yesterday that Mario first put the key to the front door? How and when did twenty years pass without notice? We were all present here at one point or another surrounded by friends and family for so many occasions.
Summer after summer; a flurry of boaters, bathing suits and Cosmopolitans breezed past in a splash. Winter after winter; we danced away cold blustery blues on that steamy dance floor. In-between there was Bar Trivia, Line Dancing, and singing Karaoke with our favorite DJ’s. And of course, the food, which was the best on Lake Hopatcong.
For myself, and my gang, eleven of those twenty years was spent with Mario, and his staff accommodating us on the first Saturday of every month when he hosted our favorite band, Jersey Sound. While we were busy laughing, eating and drinking, the staff busted their ass to take care of us. They were attentive and often joined in on the fun. I can honestly say, we’re going to miss them all.
Many tears and much laughter spilled onto all of us over the years. Together we celebrated life and mourned death, always in the comfort of friendship. We danced for weddings, anniversaries, and even divorces. Birthday parties were the norm, and we watched as new romances bloomed, and then withered.
Hell, we even survived a pandemic and made one kick-ass come-back !! I know this sounds like a cliché, but many lasting friendships were formed on that dance floor, and spending time with people you want to be with is worth its weight in gold.
Mario, we can’t thank you enough for your generosity, kindness and graciousness. You made everyone feel as if Pavinci was our home.
I personally will miss all our conversations. It was such a pleasure talking with you. I wish for you every happiness, and may you continue to move onward and upward.
It is with much love, friendship, and respect that I want to thank Mario, and every member of his staff, along with Jersey Sound for all that you’ve given us.
Monday, February 5th, the lights will go out on Pavinci Italian Grill for good. For every one of us, a little piece of our light will dim right along with her. We’ll have to say that goodbye we always felt wasn’t meant for us, the goodbye to an old, and very dear friend.
As per the marque photo;
Lost In Place was the first band to perform at Pavinci’s 20 years ago.
Eleven years ago, to the day, Jersey Sound made their debut and have been performing every month since. On one hand I’m apprehensive, and on the other I’m happy Jersey Sound is the closing band.
Bittersweet you say? Without a doubt.  .... Laura Conte (2/4/2023)

Just when you think it’s impossible to get any better Jersey Sound excels over the top. Spectacular night once again!!!...Carol Cuccioli (10/1/2022)

Always lots of fun when attending Jersey Sound performances. Life is good with Jersey sound around. The group is terrific! Love all of them.....Marianne Geany (9/23/2022)

I have to hand it to these men, their performances always leave us smiling, and wanting for more. Talk about professionalism, we had a miserably hot summer this year and these six men ripped through every single show without missing a beat. Despite the hot sun glaring on them, extreme temperatures and brutal humidity, they entertained us with their fabulous harmony, top-notch musical accompaniment and music our generation grew up with ranging from Frank Sinatra to Bruce Springsteen. I mean really, how could you go wrong?
As much as I’m enjoying this cooler September weather, I am sorry to see these summer concerts come to an end. Lucky for all of us we can catch a Jersey Sound show at many local venues in the area.
Come join the fellas of Jersey Sound to free your soul and dance the night away…!!!... Laura Conte (9/14/2022)

The concert, Thursday night, June 24, was just wonderful— a perfect evening with a full moon too. Your band was terrific with playing the oldies, Bruce Springstein, the Beatles and more. Some of the songs the crowd loved were Dawn, You're Too Good To Be True, Pretty Woman, Good Lovin, Have You Heard, Old Time Rock and Roll, I Ain't Got Nobody, Look At Me, Oh My Love. Many in the audience were singing with you and loving the memories the songs brought back to them. You all worked together effortlessly and the audience loved your performance. Your friendly banter with the audience was perfect too.
There were people dancing in front of the band for most of the songs! It was a great evening and a huge crowd, probably 350 or more.....Louise Lewis (6/24/2021)

Below is the review of Jersey Sound's performance at the PNC Bank Arts Center. The review appeared in NJ https://www.newjerseystage.com/index.php :
While backstage, we also get a chance to chat with several members of the six-piece band, Jersey Sound.
Says founder Phil Bruno of Nutley, “We started the band back in 2005, but the current line-up you’ll hear today has been together for six years.
We play all over the state,” states Bruno, adding, “In fact, we just performed at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park.”
And we’ll also be playing at Hemingway’s Cafe in Seaside Heights coming up soon,” says lead singer, Bob Freeman.
The band has three lead vocalists — Bob Freeman, Michael Delvey, and Jim Cotugno — in addition to a bassist, drummer, keyboardist, and founder Bruno on guitar.
“We’re excited to be a group that plays songs which were made famous by artists who performed on this very stage including Sinatra, Johnny Mathis….and Eddie Rabbit” — conclude Bruno and Freeman.
Following our chat, we take our seats inside the PNC Bank Arts Center amphitheater where Garden State Arts Foundation VP Ron Gravino welcomes the crowd. After the playing of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Gravino introduces the Jersey Sound band.
The group takes the stage and starts the show off with a laugh joking, “How do you like us so far?” before stating, “We’re Jersey Sound and we’re gonna take you back in time.”
Opening with an energetic rendition of “Zing Went the Strings of My Heart,” featuring tight vocal harmonies, the group follows up with keyboardist Dom DiGiola singing lead on The Turtles’ “Happy Together.”
The audience joins in on Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” the crowd happily singing and swaying on the “I love you baby/And if it’s quite all right” chorus.
Members of the armed forces stand to be recognized on a stirring medley of “America the Beautiful” and Neil Diamond’s “America” featuring strong vocals from the Jersey Sound singers.
Highlights of the group’s set include the band’s rendition of The Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody,” which features an inspired vocal with falsetto by Bob Freeman, in addition to fabulous vocal harmonies on The Duprees’ “Have You Heard.”
The audience happily helps out once again on Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” with an energetic call and response on “So good, so good, so good,” as fans happily dance in the aisles.
Jersey Sound winds up its set with a lovely rendition of The Vogues’ “Turn Around Look at Me” — a performance which earns them a standing ovation from this Jersey crowd!
During intermission, we take a moment to chat with several audience members who comment on the group’s performance today.
Remarks Elaine from Brick, “Jersey Sound was very good! I especially liked their performance of ‘Unchained Melody,’” before adding, “but I am a little disappointed because I wanted them do an encore!”
Elaine’s friend, Patty from Nutley, calls the group “very enjoyable.”
Yet another audience member — Pat from Sayreville — calls the band’s performance “diversified, with a nice variety — before revealing, “I was singing along the entire time!”

"Jersey Sound creates the energy and the vibe that is a cross generational experience turning on the heart, soul and feel that only the tightest bands can master. Whether playing blues, R&B, Rock or the oldies The Jersey Sound completes your most personal desire to be where "it's at"..... Jim McDade

"Hot, Hot, Hot was Jersey Sound's Valentine dance party. If fact, so "Sizzling Hot" that the fire alarm sounded a few times !!! These boys have no idea the heat they expel when Jersey Sound hits that stage. With each song a forgotten time is brought to the present, a memory evoked or youthful feeling remembered. Flawless renditions of music most of us grew up with, dreaming and planning our futures or crying over failed romances. Jersey Sound is nothing short of remarkable. Each member stretches his talent and stage persona which lends itself beautifully to this unique band of men. The camaraderie evident, the audience engagement reveled but most of all the passion for their craft. Phil's sybarite guitar (wow), Paul supporting and setting the tone, Pete, (Pete,Pete, Pete) beating the skin of those drums and Dominick giving us every sound imaginable on keys and singing too..!!! And let us not forget the front men....Bobby, Michael and Jimmy with their heart throbbing ballads and rockin' upbeats, why all the girls want to be that "Devil in a Blue Dress" or perhaps a "Mustang Sally".....!!! I, for one, can't get enough of "Let it Be Me"....Thanks Guys for everything you give us and for being my friends."ch member stretches his talent and stage persona which lends itself beautifully to this unique band of men.
